MY PHILOSOPHY
HOW I GOT HERE
I didn’t begin my career intending to work in TV.
I originally studied English and German Law, planning to follow a conventional professional path. But when I was offered a place on a BBC training scheme, I realised I didn’t want to practise law — I wanted to tell stories, shape voices, and help people communicate clearly.
So I moved into television and spent the next 15 years producing and directing documentaries and factual programmes for broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Netflix and Discovery Plus.
Those years taught me far more than technical craft. They taught me how to bring out someone’s real voice — even when they’re nervous, unsure, or completely new to being filmed.
The blending of the clarity of a legal mind and a producer’s instinct for communication has become the foundation of the work I do today.
When I began helping professionals one-to-one, I realised something. The same people who thrive in their fields struggle to show up clearly on camera — not because they lack ability, but because they lack direction.
Brilliant lawyers, doctors, founders, therapists, consultants — all with deep expertise, strong opinions, and something meaningful to say — but no producer to help translate that into video that feels natural, consistent and authoritative.
